We absolutely loved our stay at the Goulburn River Retreat. It is a beautifully secluded home perfectly situated on the Goulburn river. We enjoyed restful days of swimming, enjoying the sunshine and the native flora/fauna of the area. We explored the surrounding suburbs and enjoyed several hikes, but honestly we didn’t want to leave the retreat. The home itself is modern yet cozy and came completely stocked with small things you typically forget when going away. We definitely recommend Goulburn River Retreat for a special time away and we would love to return.

This was the best long weekend away! The location is absolutely stunning, being right on the river, and the house was well-equipped with everything we needed. We spent most of our time in the backyard, reading and snoozing under a tree, swimming in the river, and having BBQs for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I could not recommend this property highly enough. If you are looking for a recharge weekend, with the beauty and stillness of nature, this is the place to stay.

Goulburn river retreat was indeed a retreat. It is a little slice of paradise. Nestled in the bush right on the river. It was great listening to the river at night and smelling the fresh bush around us. We loved our kayaking down the Jamieson river. Will definitely be returning.

Great space indoors and out. We all had a fantastic time. Play equipment for the kids was fab. Our dog loved the garden and splashing in the river. Would love to come back one day

Was the most incredible stay, The house was amazing on the most incredible property could have easily stayed a week. Such a great place for the weekend with the family to celebrate my mums 60th birthday with three kids ranging from 10 months to 5 years old.

What an incredible property! We had the best time at the Goulburn River Retreat. The house has everything you could need, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The surrounding landscape is tranquil. I would highly recommend this property if you are looking to relax and unwind.

Goulburn river retreat was absolutely stunning and so family friendly my 2.5 year old had the time of her life and it was wonderful and relaxing. ☺️ would def spend time there whenever we can

A great winter escape. The house is perfect on a beautiful block backing onto the Goulburn River. Fireplace was great. Local deer gave us a few surprises on early morning adventures on the block with the pups. Short drive into Mansfield for supplies and the Jamieson Brewery just around the corner. Loved it and made us want our own place in Jamieson. Would recommend and will be back.

Goulburn River Retreat is by far one of the best accomodations in Victoria and I'd certainly love to return one day.
